Journal is a free blog theme. This is a 2 column responsive theme. It has a unique layout that puts a large featured image on the left and content on the right. It has a minimal and clean style and it is visually pleasing and easy to read. It comes with 2 styles, dark and light. Theme also comes with overlay responsive menu, overlay search field, font-awesome icons and infinite scroll support.
Plugins required
This theme supports infinite scroll feature. That means you will be able to load older posts without paginating. Just click on the “older posts” button and they will appear below new posts.

Theme options
Theme comes with an options panel to customize its settings.
1. Theme color scheme
You have the option to select between Dark and Light color scheme
2. Header image
Upload an image for the header. You will be able to add featured image to posts and pages, which will replace the header image when you are viewing a post or page.
3. Custom styling
Use this option to set an accent color, header background color, link color etc.
3. Banner settings
Use this options to customize the banner ads on the sidebar.
